Dope Snow athletes Jesper Tjäder and Juho Saastamoinen head to X Games Aspen 2026 | Dope Magazine

X Games Aspen 2026 will take place January 23–25 in Aspen, Colorado, and both Jesper Tjäder and Juho Saastamoinen are set to line up in Knuckle Huck. Known for their distinct approaches and creativity on snow, the two Dope Snow athletes return to one of freestyle skiing’s biggest stages ready to do things their own way.

Jesper Tjäder returns to X Games

For Jesper, this marks another chapter in a long relationship with the X Games. The 31-year-old Swedish freeskier has built his reputation on creativity and curiosity, constantly pushing to bring something new to competition. His approach is simple: don't overthink it, stay calm, and let the riding speak for itself. With the Winter Olympics on the horizon, Jesper has his sights set on progression that matters.

Juho Saastamoinen’s journey back to Aspen

Juho's journey to X Games reads like a dream in fast-forward. The 22-year-old Finn went from wildcard invite to podium finisher in just two appearances, proving that his fearless mentality works when it counts. After standing at the bottom of the course last year, watching his name appear on the podium for the first time, Juho is heading back to Aspen ready to give his all once again.

Both riders have been grinding through the season, stacking clips and staying true to what makes their skiing stand out. Jesper continues to blend influences from art, architecture and other sports into his approach, while Juho keeps breaking down barriers with the same fearless energy that landed him his first backflip at nine years old.

X Games Aspen kicks off January 23. Two Dope riders, two different styles, same stage. Keep your eyes peeled for Jesper and Juho – they're bringing the heat.
