Biography
Ellen Forsberg was introduced to snowboarding by an older family friend named Lotten, who became her first real role model in the sport. Ellen even named her Barbie dolls after her. That early influence shaped how she approached snowboarding from the start. Her riding has since grown into a mix of freeride and splitboarding, with Hemavan as her go-to spot for combining both. A perfect day is riding untouched off-piste with a small crew, taking breaks in the sun to drink coffee and build a snow sofa before heading back out.
“I started riding park at 22 and won the Swedish Nationals in Big Air the year after.”– Ellen Forsberg
