Biography

Izzy Wallace didn’t grow up in the mountains. Her first snowboard trip was in Scotland at seven, followed by family road trips to France with secondhand gear bought on eBay. At 17, a school ski trip sparked something bigger, and a year later she left the UK for her first season in Japan. Nine winters later, she’s built her life around snowboarding, chasing back to back winters and now calling Chamonix home. Her riding sits somewhere between park laps and big lines. Progress driven, competitive when it counts, and fuelled by the feeling of landing tricks she has battled for. From stepping into FWT qualifiers to winning in Ordino with her parents watching, her path has been self made and built on seasons, risk, and saying yes to the next opportunity.

Seeing Jenny Jones win bronze for Team GB made it feel possible. Snowboarding isn’t exactly accessible in the UK, so that moment meant everything. Izzy Wallace
