Biography
Ryan McElmon grew up on the East Coast of the US, where skiing meant weekend trips and making the most of limited terrain. A win on the Monster Recon Tour at thirteen changed the pace. What followed was a decade on the NorAm and World Cup circuits, podiums, travel, and competing alongside riders he grew up watching. Through it all, style, progression, and community stayed at the core of his skiing. Now based in Park City, Ryan is taking his park background into the backcountry. Snowmobiling deep, chasing powder, and putting tricks into bigger terrain. The goal is simple: become the best skier he can be across every discipline.
“Landing tricks in the backcountry is one of the most fulfilling feelings I’ve ever had.”– Ryan McElmon
