Biography
Louise Nordström didn’t grow up snowboarding. After retiring from high level gymnastics at 26, she booked a winter season just for fun. One season turned into another, and before long she was chasing new tricks and competing on the circuit. Starting seriously at 27 didn’t slow her down. She became Swedish Champion, won the Swedish Snowboard Series, took a Europa Cup victory, and competed in World Cups, proving that starting late doesn’t mean thinking small. A serious foot injury in 2018 changed her path but not her love for riding. After two years of rehab and being told she might never walk properly again, she fought her way back. Now she splits her time between Stockholm, Lombok, and Laax, balancing motherhood, business and snowboarding.
“I started snowboarding properly at 27. You can start late and still get a lot of shit done.”– Louise Nordström
