Biography
Talia Komaike grew up skiing in Fernie, where days on the mountain with her mum sparked a love for snow early on. Getting pulled out of school to go skiing is one of her earliest memories, and that feeling has stayed with her ever since. She switched to a snowboard at 18 and never looked back. Now based in Big White, her riding is shaped by deep snow and a relaxed, flowing style. Whether it’s a quick lap or a full powder day, she keeps things simple - enjoying being outside and making the most of time in the mountains.
“I think I’ve loved the snow since then. I was obsessed with tree runs then and still am.”– Talia Komaike
