We use a polyester weave that makes our hoods and masks waterproof. Polyesters are synthetic materials, so they don't absorb water easily. Our fleece hoodies and neckwarmers are naturally waterproof, while our DWR (durable water repellent) coated softshell jackets are designed for powder riding.
